About the role

We are seeking an experienced Edge Sander Operator to join the team at PC Finishing a sister Company to Walls Bros Designer Kitchens in Holden Hill, South Australia.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all kitchen panels are finished to the highest standard. As an Edge Sander Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining edge sanding equipment to achieve precise finishes on a variety of materials. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction in the manufacturing industry.

Your will need to be competent with the following;

  1. Operate edge sanding machinery to finish kitchen components and materials to specification

  2. Inspect materials and finished products for quality and adherence to company standards

  3. Adjust sanding equipment settings to accommodate different material types and thicknesses

  4. Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered during operation

  5. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding equipment to ensure optimal performance

  6. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules and targets

  7. Identify and report any equipment faults or safety concerns to management immediately

  8. Adhere to all health and safety protocols and workplace procedures at all times


You will have proven experience with sanding equipment or similar machinery, experience in the kitchen industry / 2 PAC paint shop would be an advantage.

Reliability along with a strong commitment to meet deadlines is extremely important, whilst working together our very busy factory environment.
