IPCQ provide expertise in the Corrosion Control industry offering specialised painting services. IPCQ's team have access to a large range of equipment and resources allowing for great personal development and hands-on industry experience. 

We are seeking skilled PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our project team in Brisbane. IPCQ are a Queensland-based company with work all over Australia and long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate.

To be successful, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience and have:

  • A current White / Blue Construction Industry Induction Card
  • A positive attitude towards excellence in OHS&E and Quality Assurance
  • A keen and enthusiastic approach to your work
  • Understand surface preparation and finishes
  • Be able to understand and complete works to specifications

Tasks Include

  • Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers
  • mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc
  • Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness
  • Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Erecting scaffolding and ladders
  • Cleaning equipment and work areas

All successful applicants will be medically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings from $70,000 + Super
