We are seeking skilled PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our project team in Brisbane. IPCQ are a Queensland-based company with work all over Australia and long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate.

To be successful, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience and have:

A current White / Blue Construction Industry Induction Card
A positive attitude towards excellence in OHS&E and Quality Assurance
A keen and enthusiastic approach to your work
Understand surface preparation and finishes
Be able to understand and complete works to specifications

Tasks Include

Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers
mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc
Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness
Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Erecting scaffolding and ladders
Cleaning equipment and work areas

All successful applicants will be medically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings from $70,000 + Super
