• 2 x two-week swings (with possible extension)

• Mobilisation time frame: 7-10 days

• Must be available for medical Monday 15th or Tuesday 16th June 2026

About the Client

Staff-Net is currently seeking multiple experienced Carpenters and Roof Plumbers for upcoming FIFO construction project in Western Australia. We have multiple positions available for candidates with mine site construction experience who are available for immediate mobilisation.

The Roles

Working as part of a mine site construction team, successful candidates will be involved in the construction, installation and maintenance of camp and site infrastructure.

Carpenter duties may include:

• Installation of prefabricated wall systems

• Roof carpentry

• Formwork carpentry

• Concreting & steel fixing assistance

• Installation of doors & windows

• Internal fit-out work

• Decking, walkways & general construction

• Building maintenance & repairs

• Reading and interpreting drawings
  

Roof Plumber duties may include:

• Measuring and cutting roofing sheets

• Installation of steel roofing systems

• Drilling and fixing roof sheeting

• Guttering installation & repairs

• Fabricating gutter corners, mitres & box gutters

• Installation of downpipes & rainwater systems

• Cyclone compliance fixings and roof bracing systems

• Installation of skylights, exhaust systems & whirly birds

• Installation of roof walkways, ladders and access systems

• Working with static lines, anchor points and harness systems

• Patio and Veranda installation work

Essential Requirements

All personnel must have a clean police clearance issued within the last three months, or be willing to obtain one

Carpenters

• Trade qualification in carpentry

• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience

• Current driver's licence

• Construction White Card

• Working at Heights ticket

• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screen
  

Roof Plumbers

• Relevant roof plumbing qualification or demonstrated industry experience

• Previous commercial, industrial or mine site roofing experience

• Current driver's licence

• Construction White Card

• Working at Heights ticket

• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens

Highly Regarded

• Mine site construction experience

• EWP ticket

• High Risk Work Licence

• Experience working with height safety systems

• Experience completing JHA's and working under site safety procedures

Remuneration

• $50.00 – $60.00 per hour (flat rate) depending on experience

• Superannuation paid on all hours
