About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Welder / Fitter to join our maintenance team at our Stawell Brick manufacturing operation.
This role involves carrying out welding and fabrication work across site plant and equipment within a fast-paced brick manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and modification of production equipment including conveyors, structural steelwork, and associated plant.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified tradesperson who takes pride in safety, compliance, and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication across plant and equipment safely and efficiently
Carry out TIG, MIG and ARC welding as required
Fabricate, repair and modify equipment including conveyors and associated plant
Complete structural fabrication and general maintenance welding tasks
Carry out day-to-day welding repairs and fabrication modifications
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance work across site equipment
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
About You
Trade qualified Welder / Fabricator / Boilermaker (or equivalent)
Strong welding experience in TIG, MIG, and ARC
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and a professional, reliable approach
Australian working rights required
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
