Roof Plumber

About the role

Futureproof Building Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Roof Plumber to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Belmont WA 6104, this role is central to delivering high-quality roof plumbing services to our clients across residential and commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise your technical expertise, and contribute to the success of a dynamic building services company.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately analyse and interpret plans;

• Install, inspect, and maintain roof plumbing systems including guttering, downpipes, and flashing;

• Diagnose and repair roof plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and damaged components;

• Measure and cut materials to specification, ensuring precision and accuracy;

• Seal and waterproof roof installations to prevent water ingress and damage;

• Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, site supervisors, and clients to ensure projects remain on schedule;

• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards;

• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies;

• Provide mentoring to team members and apprentices;

• Complete documentation and reports as required.

What we're looking for

• A recognised roof plumbing / roof tiling qualification or apprenticeship with demonstrated competency;

• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working as a roof plumber or in a similar capacity;

• Strong knowledge of roof plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques;

• Sound understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Valid manual driver's licence;

• Hold a White Card (Construction Induction Card);

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues;

• Current Police Clearance (within 12 months).
