About the role

Futureproof Building Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Belmont WA 6104, this role is central to delivering high-quality carpentry and joinery services to our clients across residential and commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise your technical expertise, and contribute to the success of a dynamic building services company.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately analyse and interpret plans;

• General carpentry works including but not limited to installation of doors, locks, framing and joinery works;

• General building works including but not limited to plasterboard repairs, brick paving and handyman types.

• Conduct site assessments to determine material requirements and project feasibility for quoting and estimating purposes; beneficial,

• Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, site supervisors, and clients to ensure projects remain on schedulet;

• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies;

• Provide mentoring to team members and apprentices.

What we're looking for

• A recognised carpentry/joinery qualification or apprenticeship with demonstrated competency;

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in residential and commercial building sectors;

• Excellent measuring and calculation skills with meticulous attention to detail

• A commitment to health and safety standards;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Valid manual driver's licence;

• Hold a White Card (Construction Induction Card);

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues;

• Current Police Clearance (within 12 months).
