Full time Formwork Carpenter

Full time Formwork Carpenter Required for leading construction business in Perth

Greenmount Concrete is a family owned construction business, two generations with over 50 years experience in Commercial, Civil and Industrial Construction.

We are currently looking to employ a full time Formwork Carpenter for an immediate start. The ongoing position will be to work on a variety of high rise construction projects in Perth. (eg High rise Apartments and Multi-Storey Car Parks).

Position

You will be required to erect and install a variety of temporary framework structures to support the construction process. In particular, In-situ walls, Columns, Stairs and Decks.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The ideal person will possess:

• Carpentry Apprenticeship or at least Certificate III in Carpentry

• At least 3+ years experience in a similar role as a Formwork Carpenter

• Ability to Read Plans

• Hold a current construction card (white card)

• Good communication skills

• Ability support the project through to deadline

• Have full work rights to work in Australia

• Must be able to pass D&A screening

• Must successfully complete drug and alcohol screening as part of the pre-employment process

• Competitive Salary od $80k-$100k
