We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker Welder to join our facility at Port Melbourne minimum 3 - 6 Months Temp to Perm Opportunity. Role will see you working around Melbourne Ports and may be offered permanent role based on productivity. All works conducted will be preventative maintenance and breakdowns.

The successful applicant will be receive daily travel allowance, great support from a solid team and an ongoing position with an immediate start. Day Shifts with break down outside of Day shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

Recognised Fabrication Trade Qualification (Cert 3 Engineering Trade)
Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment or similar
Advanced mechanical fault finding and problem-solving skills
Well experienced in MIG welding
Working at Heights
Forklift/EWP/ Confined Space
WP Ticket
Ability to pass site security checks

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintaining and improving the complete site for manufacturing equipment, utilities, building maintenance etc
Complying with quality, housekeeping, safety and cleaning procedures.
Works in a safe manner consistent with company safety policy & processes.
