Tenkate Plant Hire Pty Ltd is a proudly family-owned business operating a large, modern fleet of earthmoving and heavy transport equipment across Queensland. We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team in a role that combines workshop duties with field service work.
This position is suited to a reliable tradesperson who enjoys varied work, problem-solving, and developing advanced skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
About the Role
Minimum 38 hours per week with some overtime available
Combination of workshop and site-based field service work
Maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown response, and repairs
Work across a modern fleet including:
Volvo articulated haulers, excavators, and loaders
Caterpillar dozers
Heavy road transport equipment
About You
Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter (Cert III)
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Current Australian C-Class driver’s licence (or higher)
HRWL (Forklift, CN) licences — desirable
Australian citizen or permanent resident
