My national client requires a permanent mechanical fitter based in Henderson paying up to $52ph + super

Your new company

My client is a global leader in design, engineering, and manufacturing. Based in Henderson, they require a permanent Mechanical Fitter.

Your new role

Typical duties include:
  • Assembling and installing equipment
    • Putting together machinery, tooling, and production systems used in composite manufacturing
  • Maintenance and repairs
    • Fixing plant machinery, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems to keep production running
  • Fault-finding / troubleshooting
    • Diagnosing breakdowns and figuring out what's wrong, then repairing it
  • Reading technical drawings
    • Using engineering plans and specs to correctly fit and align parts
  • Working with tools and machinery
    • Using hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment
  • Supporting manufacturing
    • Helping ensure machines that produce composite products operate efficiently and safely
  • Following safety and quality standards
    • Working to strict industrial safety and quality requirements (very important in defence/energy work)


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a Mechanical Trade Qualification and previous experience. You will need to be a Australian Citizen or permanent resident as this will be a permanent role.

What you'll get in return

This is a permanent role paying between $47-52 mph depending on experience.
