WHAT WE OFFER

• Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD, with potential for other project/outage work.
• Project Dates: Start date from early July, running approximately until September.
• Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
• Competitive Rate: $103.50 per hour
• Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers Kogan Creek outage. LAHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Mechanical Supervisors to provide outage services at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. Starting in early July, Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities, overseeing crews working on turbine, boiler, and balance‑of‑plant equipment to ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, while managing contractors and resolving on-site issues.

ABOUT YOU

• Site Proficient: Experienced in overseeing outage welding work within the power generation and heavy industry sectors.
• Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
• Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Qualifications: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card
• Trade certificate: All trade and supervisor qualifications will be required
