Leading Hand or A-Grade Electrician (4th year apprentice considered)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand or A-Grade Electrician (4th year apprentice considered) to join our team and help lead projects while mentoring our apprentices.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an electrician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating site activities, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading commercial electrical installation projects 

• Supervising and mentoring apprentices 

• Coordinating day-to-day site activities 

• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard 

• Liaising with clients, builders, and project managers 

• Assisting with commissioning, fault finding, and project handovers 

Our work is primarily commercial, with some domestic and industrial projects throughout Geelong and Melbourne.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential Requirements

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (Not required for 4th year apprentice)

• Current Driver's Licence 

• White Card 

• Working with Children Check 

• Yellow Card (EWPA) 

• High Risk Work Licence for Boom Lifts over 11m 

• Valid police check 

• Strong communication and leadership skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  

Highly Regarded

• Qualifications and/or experience in Renewable Energy Systems 

• Previous experience leading small teams or supervising apprentices 

• Commercial construction experience
