We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/ HRT for a full-time opportunity with one of our logistics clients based in Naval Base, Perth WA.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy workshop environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of heavy vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a small professional, safety-focused team.

• Local workshop position - Monday to Friday (5:30AM - 4PM) in Naval Base

• NO Weekend work / home every night

• Temp to Perm opportunity

• Looking for someone who is happy to share their knowledge with other team mates and apprentices.

• Looking after a fleet of Prime Movers, Trailers, Forklifts, Reach Stackers and other

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy road vehicles and equipment

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

• Maintain accurate service records and report completed work

• Identify parts and repair requirements as needed

The requirements

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HRT or equivalent

• Relevant Experience

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
