Full Time Permanent Position

Due to the expansion in our Kalgoorlie operations we currently have vacancies for persons with Boilermaker, Welder, Coded Welder, Cladder (Sheetmetal Trades Worker) &Fitter experiences. This Position is Kalgoorlie based and not FIFO

Duties are included as below but not limited, please contact us for detailed duties for each position:

• Fabricate steel or metal components according to drawing and superior instructions

• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise from and assemble metal components

• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following drawing and layout specifications, using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools

• Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job

• requirements

• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock

• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame

• cutting torches and metal cutting machines

• Ability to design and fabricate sheet metal products, such as ducting, piping and tubing

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Cutting, bending and stamping sheet metal in accordance with design instructions

• Installing and assembling sheet metal products

• Fitting and assembling products based on technical drawings

• Installing and shaping products made from metal sheets

• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine

They should have the following  requirements 

Trade Certificate

Up to 3 Years Experience

Able to do roster work

Must be able to pass a D & A test and police clearance.

Able to Undertake Pre-employment Medical

These positions are permanent positions.

Base annual salary starting from $80,000 P/A
