SITECH Construction Systems is the Trimble Heavy Construction distributors for the Eastern and Central Australia. Trimble offers a range of GNSS and UTS machine control systems to suit graders, excavators, dozers, scrapers, compactors and more. Trimble machine control systems provide guidance to the operator to comply with a 3D model in civil construction and mining.

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and capable Product Support Technician to join our Brisbane team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support and practical advice to users of Trimble machine control systems.

This is a diverse and hands-on position, suited to someone with strong technical knowledge who enjoys problem solving and supporting customers in the field. Comprehensive training will be provided to set you up for success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform field repairs and support for construction machines equipped with machine control systems

• Update and report site visit outcomes using the CRM mobile application

• Attend Trimble training across the Asia-Pacific region

• Build strong working relationships across the wider Herga Group

• Provide technical advice and on-site support to end users

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A trade qualification (automotive, electrical, or related field)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Solid computer and technical aptitude

• A current, unrestricted driver’s licence (essential)

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel locally and interstate as required

• Interest in construction technology and a desire to learn Trimble systems

• Previous Trimble experience (highly regarded, but not essential)
