  • Test EWIS/occupant warning, emergency and exit lighting, smoke control, fire/smoke dampers, passive fire systems, extinguishers and fire blankets

  • Identify, record and report defects, and carry out or recommend rectification

  • Complete AS 1851 records, baseline data, logbooks and service reports accurately and on time

  • Liaise with clients, building managers and other trades to complete works with minimal disruption

  • Work to AS 1851, the AS 1670 series, the NCC and NSW fire safety regulations, and all WHS requirements

Essential

  • FPAS accreditation (NSW Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme)

  • Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing

  • Proven experience servicing and testing dry fire systems

  • Sound working knowledge of AS 1851 and AS 1670

  • Current NSW driver's licence and White Card

  • Strong fault-finding, attention to detail and the ability to manage your own run

Highly Regarded

  • Restricted/full electrical licence (dual-trade techs encouraged to apply)

  • Working at Heights, EWP and First Aid

What We Offer

  • Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications

  • Steady workload across an established client base

  • Fully equipped vehicle, tools and PPE

  • A supportive, safety-first team and genuine opportunities to upskill across our electrical, fire, solar and communications divisions
