We are currently seeking a full-time, enthusiastic and self-motivated Gardener or Trainee Gardener to join the team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep and presentation of the village’s gardens and grounds, helping ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents.

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing and edging to maintain neat and tidy outdoor areas

• Carry out weeding and general garden maintenance

• Prune shrubs and plants to support healthy growth and appearance

• Complete general clean-up duties, including raking leaves and removing debris

• Assist with a range of grounds maintenance tasks as required

• Ground maintenance of handrail, Fence staining, and edging replacement.

 To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous gardening, landscaping experience or relevant trade qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a small team

• Well-developed customer service and communication skills

• A positive, friendly attitude with a reliable and honest work ethic

• The ability to provide a current Police Check
