Role Details

Position: School Cleaner
Location: Brightwater State School, Mountain Creek, QLD
Monday to Friday Shifts:
- Morning 5:00–8:00 AM
- Afternoon 2:00–6:00 PM
Availability across both shifts is highly preferred
Pay: from $32.31 per hour + penalties and super
Contract: Casual
If you demonstrate a strong work ethic and good performance, The Department of Education will likely hire you on a permanent basis
Start date: ASAP

What you will do

Turn busy classrooms back into clean, calm spaces
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Clean bathrooms and restock supplies
Wipe desks and high-touch areas
Follow hygiene and safety procedures

What you need

Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
Blue Card and recent Police Check

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Ability to complete physical tasks
Pass medical and drug/alcohol screening
