Caravan and Service Manager

Freestyle RV is one of Victoria's leading caravan dealerships, specialising in premium brands including Lotus Caravans and a range of quality pre-owned caravans. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Caravan & Service Manager to join our team in Somerton.

 

About the Role

 

This is a hands-on management position responsible for overseeing our service department, warranty operations, workshop coordination, customer service, and vehicle handovers. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional after-sales support and that all service and warranty work is completed efficiently and professionally.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department.

- Coordinate workshop bookings, repairs, servicing, and warranty claims.

- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, repairers, and customers.

- Schedule and oversee technician workloads to maximise efficiency.

- Ensure warranty claims are processed accurately and promptly.

- Conduct customer handovers and explain caravan systems and operation.

- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and communication.

- Assist with insurance repairs and service quotations.

- Manage parts ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships.

- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

- Previous experience in the caravan, automotive, RV, or service industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

- Experience handling warranty claims and service scheduling.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads.

- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.

- A current driver's licence.
