Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled Communications / AV Technician to join our team.

About the role

This is a hands-on field role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a wide range of technologies, delivering clean, reliable installations and practical solutions for customers across the Sunshine Coast.

We're open to both experienced technicians and technically-minded individuals who take pride in their work, communicate well, and enjoy problem-solving.

What you will be doing:

• Installing and maintaining:

  • Data & phone cabling (Cat6)

  • Wi-Fi systems & network hardware

  • Antenna and satellite systems

  • CCTV and security systems

  • Audio-visual systems

• Fault finding and troubleshooting technical issues

• Communicating clearly with customers and providing practical guidance

• Working independently and as part of a team

• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety requirements

What you will bring:

• Experience in communications, AV, antenna or satellite installations
  OR strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset

• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your day effectively

• Pride in delivering clean, high-quality work

• Previous experience in a Sales/Customer Service role with demonstrated ability to work unsupervised

• Ability to provide own basic tools as part of the role requirements

You'll align well if you value honesty, reliability, continuous improvement, and doing the job right the first time.

Professional Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence

• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Open Cabling Licence (or willingness to obtain)

• Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)

• Australian working rights

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

• CCTV / security systems experience

• Networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)

• Cisco / CCNA or similar certifications

• Antenna or satellite installation experience

• Fibre optic experience

• ISP or telco experience
