This is an exciting opportunity for a capable and motivated Engineering draftsman to join a well-established and progressive engineering company situated in Sumner in South of Brisbane. The company manufactures, supply and fits vehicle safety equipment for Mining, Construction and Transport industry. We are focused on delivering high-quality products and services to our clients through our friendly and professionally driven team.

About the Role

Due to the expansion of operations, we are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Draftsman with the opportunity for career progression. 

Our ideal candidate:

Will have demonstrated previous experience in a similar role, and will have the following attributes:

• Proven experience within automotive aftermarket products or similar industry would be an advantage.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in CAD drafting and engineering will be highly regarded.

• Good understanding with sheet metal products.

• Must be fully trained in Solidworks software.

• Trade experience in the metal industry is an advantage.

About you

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Professional presentation and attitude to work.

• Excellent understanding of processing and creation of drawings for production with accuracy and timeliness.

• Self-motivated with a positive “Can Do” attitude.

• Has time management as a quality.
