Ever wondered who keeps buildings safe when the alarms go off? That could be you. We're on the hunt for a switched-on apprentice to join our Brisbane team and train as a Fire Protection Control Technician - one of the most in-demand technical trades in Australia right now.

This apprenticeship leads to the UEE31025 Certificate III in Fire Protection Control, specializing in: 

  • Fire detection & alarm systems 

  • EWIS / Occupant Warning Systems 

  • Emergency & exit lighting 

  • Fire panel fault‑finding, testing and maintenance

🚨 Fire detection & alarm systems - installation, testing and servicing

💡 Emergency & exit lighting - inspection and maintenance

🔧 Fire panel fault finding & diagnostics - the detective work of the trade

💻 Programming, device replacement & system upgrades -  yes, there's serious tech involved

📋 The Australian Standards -  AS 1851, AS 1670 and relevant electrical standards

📱 Electronic reporting systems and test equipment - modern tools, modern trade

🦺 Working safely on commercial and industrial sites

What we’re looking for

We're not after someone who already knows it all - we're after someone with the right attitude who's ready to learn. You might be a great fit if you're:

  • Keen to start a technical trade career rather than a generic office job

  • Into electrical, electronics, alarms, or IT-based systems (gamers, tinkerers and tech-heads, we see you)

  • Reliable and punctual -if you show up and put in the effort, we'll back you all the way

  • Safety focused with a sharp eye for detail

  • Able to follow instructions and work in a team

  • Holds a current driver’s licence  

  • Holds a White Card  

  • Own Reliable transport
