Dynaflow is a leading specialist in laboratory ventilation, fume extraction and risk management systems, servicing universities, schools, pharmaceutical manufacturers, government facilities and defence sites throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands-on Projects & Installation Technician to join our NSW Projects & Service Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a specialised industry. Whether you come from construction, HVAC, mechanical trades, electrical trades or a similar background, we provide structured training and support to help you develop into a highly skilled installer capable of delivering complex projects independently.

You'll work on technically interesting projects across a variety of industries, installing specialised laboratory equipment and extraction systems that play a critical role in maintaining safe working environments.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced Leading Hands and Project Supervisors, you will be involved in:

  • Installation of fume cupboards, extraction systems and associated equipment

  • Installation of ductwork, fans, valves and mechanical components

  • Assisting with commissioning and testing of completed installations

  • Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications

  • Preparing materials, equipment and work areas for projects

  • Supporting project delivery to meet quality, safety and time requirements

  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records

  • Working closely with customers, builders, project managers and subcontractors

  • Supporting manufacturing, service and installation activities across the business

  • Regional and occasional interstate travel as required

About You

You are reliable, safety focused and take pride in producing high-quality work. You enjoy practical, hands-on tasks and are looking to develop specialised technical skills within a growing industry.

You will possess:

  • Strong practical and mechanical aptitude

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently when required

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer and documentation skills

  • A professional approach when working with customers and site personnel

Essential Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence

  • Australian Citizen

  • Ability to obtain Police Clearance and site-specific clearances

  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check

  • Ability to obtain a White Card

  • Ability to work on Defence, Government and Education sites

  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

  • Own basic hand tools

Desirable Skills

While not essential, experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

  • HVAC installation

  • Mechanical fitting or fabrication

  • PVC duct installation

  • Plastic welding

  • Construction site experience

  • Working with builders or project managers

  • EWP or Scissor Lift licences

  • Fume extraction or ventilation systems

Travel Opportunities
