The Opportunity:

Are you: hard working, looking for a role driving, have a good availability for a solid amount of work hours each week, including night shifts and weekend work? and you have an interest to make a difference in community environs?

Due to our ongoing expansion, we have multiple openings for Road and Site Sweeper Operators to join our team in the central and southern suburbs.

Successful candidates should be reliable, flexible to do rostered, on call work and overtime pay and have a passion for driving large vehicles. Oh, and please bring along your HR drivers licence and White Card.

While experience as a Sweeper Operator with some dual steering knowledge is desirable, we welcome applicants with... truck driving experience and current truck licence, ability to drive manual vehicles and a willingness to learn. Training provided. Easy!

Main Responsibilities of the Role are:

• Performing of all required road and site sweeping duties as scheduled and as per client needs

• Performing any general labouring duties that may be required

• Ensuring road sweeping work meets the standards of management and the expectations of customers

• The completion of site inductions and accreditation with respect to customer sites where required

• Performing all required start-up, wash-down, end of shift, and routine maintenance procedures

  
  To be great at this role, you must:

• Have a current South Australian HR license or higher and a White card

• Have minimum of 12 months truck driving experience or if no/minimal experience, bring a willingness to be trained (council garbage truck experience or dual steering is a bonus). To include manual driving ability.

• Be able to work independently

• Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality in your work

• Be willing to work night shifts and have flexibility for weekend work (essential)

• Have a good energy and fitness level

• Continual safety awareness

• Having a mechanical background is a bonus

• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
