Forklift Field Service Technician (Forklift Mechanic)

Mars Forklifts is an independent Australian owned family business located in Wetherill Park NSW. Over the past 27 years we have grown to be one of the largest independent supplier of forklift and scissor lifts in Australia, specialising in Hire, Sales and Service of these equipment.

Due to the growth of our business we are searching for a suitably qualified, and experienced Motor Mechanic, Diesel / Plant Mechanics or Auto Electrician to work based from our busy workshop in Wetherill Park as a;

FIELD SERVICE FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN.

The role involves the following duties:

• Performing Service and Repairs to our expanding hire fleet in the field.

• Refurbishing forklifts.

• Performing service and repairs to customer owned equipment.

• Work Safely within statutory OHS requirements.

• Maintaining high levels of presentation, personally and with company vehicles.

• Ongoing Training will be provided.

What we are looking for:

• Strong customer service ethic with an interest to provide a service that exceeds our company expectations.

• Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.

• Posses good problem solving skills.

• Good diagnostic and repair skills.

• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.

• Experience on forklifts not essential however applicant with experience will be rewarded.

Requirements:

• Current Drivers License

• Relevant Trade Qualification ( Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Plant Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic)

• Supply your own hand tool kit.
