Electrician (Field Service / Site)

Rutherford Electrical Engineering Services (REES) High Voltage Division has grown to be the preferred supplier to many customers in the Hunter and surrounding areas requiring specialist work in the fields of HV electrical installation and maintenance, HV cable jointing, protection testing, borehole cable and high wall cable installations.

We are currently looking for a motivated Electrician (Field Service / Site) to join our team.

You may be responsible for:

  • HV Maintenance, Protection testing and circuit breaker maintenance

  • Install HV terminations & inline joints

  • HV and LV cable installations

  • HV testing

  • Borehole and high wall cable installations

  • Services location and identification

To be successful in this role we are looking for you to have:

  • A great attitude with attention to detail

  • An electrical trade certificate

  • A qualified supervisors licence

  • A high standard of safety and quality

  • Manual drivers license

Highly regarded but not essential:

  • High voltage experience

  • Experience in the mining/heavy industry

  • AS3800 competency
