Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Darwin, Northern Territory)

NT Link is currently seeking applications for a trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. 

NT Link is a family owned and independently operated business that specialises in the design and fabrication of transportable commercial and residential buildings. 

The Role:

The role of Heavy Vehicle Mechanic repairs, maintains and tests a range of vehicles, trailers, plant and equipment for compliance against the NHVAS and WA maintenance standards.

In this position you will be responsible for conducting servicing and inspections of all vehicles, travel to sites, Maintenance duties and more.

Working days/hours are typically Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. This role can be based from Alice Springs or Darwin but must be willing to travel regularly between locations.

Candidates must hold:

• Construction White Card

• Trade Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics

• Current forklift licence (or willing to obtain prior to start)

• Heavy Combination Licence (Preferred)

• Working at Heights (renewed in previous 2 years)

• Current Drivers Licence

• Minimum 3 years experience (Required)
