Licensed Plumber / Apprentice Plumber – Maintenance
We are seeking qualified Plumbers to join our team working across Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and essential environment where your skills will directly support critical infrastructure.
You must have proven industry experience, be a solution-focused professional, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. A strong attention to detail and the ability to carry out all aspects of maintenance plumbing are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform reactive and preventative maintenance plumbing across hospital facilities
Diagnose faults and provide practical, efficient solutions
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and safety regulations
Accurately complete job reports and documentation
Participate in an on-call roster as required
Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and hospital staff
Requirements:
Licensed Plumber (or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice encouraged to apply)
Construction White Card
Current OCHRE Card (or ability to obtain)
Proven experience in maintenance plumbing
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
High attention to detail with a methodical approach
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
