Licensed Plumber / Apprentice Plumber – Maintenance

We are seeking qualified Plumbers to join our team working across Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and essential environment where your skills will directly support critical infrastructure.

You must have proven industry experience, be a solution-focused professional, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. A strong attention to detail and the ability to carry out all aspects of maintenance plumbing are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance plumbing across hospital facilities

• Diagnose faults and provide practical, efficient solutions

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment

• Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and safety regulations

• Accurately complete job reports and documentation

• Participate in an on-call roster as required

• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and hospital staff

Requirements:

• Licensed Plumber (or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice encouraged to apply)

• Construction White Card

• Current OCHRE Card (or ability to obtain)

• Proven experience in maintenance plumbing

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• High attention to detail with a methodical approach

• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team

• Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
