With over 25 years of experience and continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our experienced team.

This role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional site work supporting local water infrastructure, industrial maintenance, and project installation works.

About the Role

As a Qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of a variety of mechanical and structural components. You will work on a diverse range of projects, including process equipment, pipework, structural fabrication, and custom-engineered solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Fabrication and assembly of structural steel, stainless steel, and process equipment

• Welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and general boilermaking duties

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and sketches

• Measuring, marking out, and preparing materials for fabrication

• MIG, TIG, and MMA welding as required

• Fabrication and installation of pipework, frames, brackets, platforms, and mechanical components

• Assisting with equipment installation and maintenance works on customer sites

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with a strong focus on quality and safety

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)

• Proven experience in general fabrication and welding

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work independently from specifications

• Strong fabrication skills including cutting, fitting, assembly, and welding

• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Ability to work effectively within a small, experienced team

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Construction White Card

• Ability to pass site-specific inductions and requirements

Desirable Qualifications

• Forklift Licence

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space Training

• EWP Licence

• Experience within water, process, or industrial environments
