About the Role

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for manufacturing and repairing metal products, components, and equipment to a high standard. You will work from drawings and specifications, operate welding equipment and machinery, and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality welds in line with drawings and weld symbols

• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

• Prepare materials through grinding, drilling, cutting, milling, and tapping

• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and layouts

• Weld a variety of small and large components

• Operate and monitor welding machinery and equipment

• Carry out basic maintenance and report repair needs

• Package, identify, and move finished products correctly

• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly

• Assist in other production areas when required

• Meet production targets, quality standards, and KPIs

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Good mathematical and measuring skills

• Experience using precision measuring tools

• Sound mechanical aptitude

• Relevant welding or trade qualifications (advantageous)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and self-motivation

• Good technology skills and willingness to learn systems
