About the Role

The Heavy Commercial Autoglazier is responsible for the removal, replacement, and repair of windscreens and other glass components on trucks, buses, heavy machinery, and other commercial vehicles. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and quality workmanship, often working both in workshop and mobile settings. 

You will:

• Take ownership of jobs from start to finish, ensuring top-quality workmanship and customer service

• Remove, repair, and install windscreens and other glass components on trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles

• Carry out chip repairs, sealing work, and glass replacements to industry standards

• Assess vehicle damage and determine the most appropriate repair or replacement solution

• Work both on-site and in the workshop, depending on job requirements

• Maintain accurate job records and customer documentation

• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained to a high standard

• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures

• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and branch management

• Maintain customer satisfaction scores above 4.6 stars

About You

• Valid driver's licence (MUST)

• Experience fitting or repairing glass on heavy commercial vehicles (MUST)

• Automotive glazing qualifications or relevant industry experience preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and professional communication

• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Committed to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction

• Flexible for occasional training or meetings outside standard working hours
