Steins Plumbing Solutions is expanding into roofing, and we need an experienced dual tradesperson who can deliver quality work, build client relationships, and spot opportunities in the field.

This isn't just a tools role. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with clients, and understands that every job is a chance to build the business.

What We Offer

$45 to $65 per hour, based on experience and sales capability

Take-home work truck or ute with full maintenance, services, and fuel covered by the company

Who We're Looking For

This role requires:

Some sales experience or a natural ability to build rapport, quote confidently, and follow up with clients. Sales experience from any background is welcome.

Licensed roofer and plumber with a minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience across both trades

Plumbing and gas fitting licences required

Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow

Strong communication skills with customers, property managers, and the team

Professional presentation and pride in your workmanship

Valid driver's licence

Honesty, initiative, accountability, and a strong work ethic

Ideal for tradespeople who:

Are ready to take on more responsibility and grow with a business

Know that quality work leads to repeat clients and referrals

Can identify opportunities like upgrades, preventative maintenance, leak investigations, and compliance work

Are comfortable quoting on the spot and following up on leads

Can manage their day without needing constant direction

Not ideal if:

You prefer a purely hands-on role with no client interaction

You need close supervision to stay on track

You're not comfortable with either the commercial or residential side of the trade, as we do both.

You are not comfortable with an emergency on call weekly roster rotation each month
