KHG currently is keeping an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on an 14:7 roster.

About the role:

         Location & Project: Various Sites

         Position: Mechanical Fitter

         Roster: 14:7 (7 days on; 7 nights on; 7 days off)

         Employment type: Full time

         Pay rate: $100,000 to $135,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Duties Required:

• Maintain, repair, and assemble mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational standards

• Diagnose equipment faults, conduct routine maintenance, and install mechanical systems.

• Inspect, repair, and replace worn or faulty mechanical components.

• Assemble fabricated metal parts into machines and equipment.

• Perform machining, welding, and precision fitting operations.

• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical drawings.

Requirements:

• 2 years (minimum) relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter/ Turning trade certificate.

• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets – issued within 2 years.

• Nationally accredited OHS card (white card).

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, DAS and Respirator Fit test.

• Familiarity with pumps, hydraulics, and fixed plant mining machinery.
