KHG currently is keeping an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on an 14:7 roster.
About the role:
Location & Project: Various Sites
Position: Mechanical Fitter
Roster: 14:7 (7 days on; 7 nights on; 7 days off)
Employment type: Full time
Pay rate: $100,000 to $135,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Duties Required:
Maintain, repair, and assemble mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational standards
Diagnose equipment faults, conduct routine maintenance, and install mechanical systems.
Inspect, repair, and replace worn or faulty mechanical components.
Assemble fabricated metal parts into machines and equipment.
Perform machining, welding, and precision fitting operations.
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical drawings.
Requirements:
2 years (minimum) relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter
Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter/ Turning trade certificate.
Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets – issued within 2 years.
Nationally accredited OHS card (white card).
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, DAS and Respirator Fit test.
Familiarity with pumps, hydraulics, and fixed plant mining machinery.
