Whywait Plumbing Services isn't a franchise. It's not a call centre with a van. It's a family-owned, independently operated business founded in November 1976 by Gary Mays, a licensed plumber who has spent nearly five decades building a company that Gold Coast and South East Queensland clients genuinely trust.

We hold QBCC Licence 78167 and NSW Licence 226900, and we service residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the Gold Coast, Tweed, Tamborine, Logan, and South Brisbane. Our clients don't just call us; they come back year after year because we do things properly the first time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plumbing, drainage, and gas fitting across residential and commercial sites in South East Queensland

• Hot water system installations and maintenance (all fuel types)

• Fault diagnosis and site investigations using your brain, not just your tools

• Communicating professionally with clients and delivering a service experience that matches our reputation

• Contributing to a team that holds itself to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Current Queensland QBCC plumbing licence (or equivalent with ability to transfer)

• Current driver's licence

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, we value plumbers who think

• A professional attitude with clients as presentation and communication matters here

• Someone who wants a long-term role, not just a stepping stone

• White Card and Blue Card
