Major Motors is seeking an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our busy workshop based in Malaga, Western Australia.
This is a hands-on role offering a mix of workshop-based and field service work across the Perth metropolitan area. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of heavy vehicles and associated equipment while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

· Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Isuzu trucks and other heavy vehicles
· Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
· Perform breakdown and field service work throughout the Perth metropolitan area
· Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities
· Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment
· Liaise professionally with customers and internal departments
· Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
· Assist with fabrication and welding repairs where required
· Work on hydraulic systems including cranes, hoists and related equipment
· Assist with workshop supervision and leadership as required
· Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent (light vehicle mechanic or similar trade may be considered)
· Strong experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles
· Sound diagnostic and fault-finding skills
· Experience working with hydraulic systems, including cranes and related equipment (preferred)
· Welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
· Current HR Licence or willing to work towards (essential)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
