About the Role

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and growing workshop specialising in aluminium and stainless-steel fabrication, repair and maintenance projects. Based in Perth, this workshop-based position offers long-term stability, ongoing overtime opportunities and the chance to work on specialised fabrication projects within a well-established and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding aluminium and stainless steel
• Fabricating and repairing aluminium and stainless-steel components
• Pipework fabrication and installation
• Performing crack repairs and leak repairs
• Fabrication and assembly of customised equipment and systems
• Working from drawings, specifications and fabrication requirements
• Completing work to high quality and testing standards
• General fabrication and workshop duties

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel
• Strong fabrication and workshop experience
• Experience with pipework fabrication
• Repair and maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication requirements
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

 

Candidates with several years of relevant industry experience will be highly regarded; however, applicants with strong fabrication skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Recruitment Process
