We're looking for an experienced maintenance plumber who can combine strong technical skills with the ability to identify opportunities, build client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools but also has the experience and commercial awareness to assist with quoting, quality assurance and helping win additional work.

About the Role

This position combines field work with office-based responsibilities.

When demand requires, you'll be carrying out maintenance plumbing, gas fitting and fault-finding work. During quieter periods, you'll assist with quoting, reviewing opportunities, quality assurance and supporting our team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll work closely with our office team to ensure opportunities are identified, quoted and converted into profitable work.

Key Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial maintenance plumbing

• Gas fitting and gas fault diagnosis

• Leak detection and advanced troubleshooting

• Identifying additional work opportunities on-site

• Preparing and reviewing quotes

• Assisting with quote follow-up and conversion

• Reviewing completed jobs and supporting quality assurance

• Supporting job close-out processes

• Building relationships with clients, property managers and strata managers

• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives

• Mentoring apprentices and junior plumbers

About You

You are an experienced maintenance plumber who understands both the technical and customer service side of the industry.

You take pride in your workmanship, communicate well with clients and can confidently identify solutions and opportunities.

Essential

• Queensland Plumbing Licence

• Current Gas Work Licence

• Minimum 7 years maintenance plumbing experience

• Leak detection experience

• Current Driver's Licence

• Strong communication skills

• High attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience preparing quotes

• Experience working with strata and property management clients

• Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset

• Experience mentoring apprentices
