Trailer Fitter or Trades Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Trailer Fitter or Trades Assistant to join our growing team. This role involves the maintenance and repair of trailers and heavy vehicles within a busy transport workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements

• Maintain accurate service records and reports

• Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management to meet operational needs

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s Licence (essential)

• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing trailers

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Must have own tools

Desirable:

• Forklift Licence

• Working at Heights and EWP tickets
