Founded on a commitment to employ quality apprentices and provide exceptional support, OSMAC has grown to be one of Queensland’s largest apprentice employers with completion rates amongst the highest in the industry.
We currently have multiple position's on offer for a 2nd-4th year Boiler Making Apprentices. Our valued customers based in North Brisbane are looking to expand their dynamic team and are seeking a dedicated, reliable and experienced apprentice.
Applicants will meet the following criteria:
Please ensure your resume is current and up to date
Experience in Medium - Heavy Fabrication Work
Experience in Mig, Tig & Stick Welding
Good Understanding of Engineering Drawings
Good Listener, can follow instructions and good communication skills
Be punctual and have a good attendance record
Be motivated and have a positive attitude
Able to work safely
TAFE modules up to date
Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
Possess a driver's licence with reliable transport
Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
Be able to work in a drug free environment and willing to undergo testing
Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade.
Preference will be given to applicants who are in their 3rd year and above Boiler making Apprenticeships

Upon successful completion of a Boiler making apprenticeship, apprentice will receive a nationally accredited Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boiler making / Welding)
