Founded on a commitment to employ quality apprentices and provide exceptional support, OSMAC has grown to be one of Queensland’s largest apprentice employers with completion rates amongst the highest in the industry.
We currently have a position on offer for a 2nd/3rd year Fitter and Turner Apprentice. Our valued customers based in North Brisbane are looking to expand their dynamic team and are seeking a dedicated, reliable and experienced apprentice.
To be considered for the positions, applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
Cover Letter and Resume up to date
Have a strong attention to detail and be honest
Have good reporting and communication skills
Must be mechanically minded
Must have sound mathematical ability
Have already started their apprenticeship
TAFE modules up to date would be essential
Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
Be willing to work overtime when required
Have the motivation/drive to succeed in the trade
Be punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
Have a positive attitude towards all aspects of the trade
Follow instructions well
Able to Work safely
Be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status and be living in Northern Suburbs of Brisbane
Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade
Must have car and licence (Workplace is not serviced by public transport)
