HVAC Air Conditioning Service Technician

About the role:

Due to the growth of the team, we are looking for a HVAC Service Technician to assist with our fast-growing Service Department.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for performing technical work on HVAC equipment including preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and quoted works. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a wealth of knowledge in the HVAC industry.

To be successful in this position, you will possess the following attributes:

Sound technical knowledge of Air conditioning systems including Central Plant.
Experience with Central Plant systems is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work autonomously, build strong client relationships and take control of site operations.
Demonstrated exposure and ability to manage contractors.
Some exposure to contractor management is acceptable for this role.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to organise workload and prioritise accordingly.
Safety-conscious, with a detailed knowledge of WHS standards.
Excellent communication skills.

You must possess the following:

Trade certification (Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning).
Restricted Electrical Licence and Full ARC licence.
Current driver's license.
Currently reside in Australia with full rights to work in Australia.
Demonstrated ability to perform in a high-volume environment.
Experience working autonomously.
