Join One of Central Queensland's Most Trusted and Fastest-Growing Automotive Groups

Autopact CQ is a leading multi-franchise dealership group with more than 65 years of success in the automotive industry. Representing some of the world's most recognised brands—including Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai, Volkswagen, BYD, Mercedes-Benz and a large range of quality used vehicles—there has never been a better time to join our growing team.

We are seeking a confident, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to help drive our continued success.

While previous automotive sales experience is highly regarded, it is not essential. Candidates with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, real estate, telecommunications, or other sales-focused industries often excel in this role.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you'll help customers find the right vehicle to suit their needs while delivering an exceptional ownership experience from first contact through to delivery and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with the purchase of new, demonstrator, and used vehicles

  • Managing the complete customer journey from enquiry through to delivery and after-sales follow-up

  • Building strong relationships with customers through exceptional service

  • Generating new business through proactive phone and face-to-face prospecting

  • Maintaining accurate customer records using our CRM systems

  • Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge across multiple vehicle brands

  • Working closely with the wider dealership team to achieve individual and team goals

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Previous sales or customer service experience (automotive experience is advantageous but not essential)

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Confidence making outbound calls and handling customer objections

  • A customer-first mindset and professional presentation

  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn CRM and dealership systems

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

  • A current and valid driver's licence

  • The motivation to succeed in a fast-paced and rewarding sales environment

What's In It For You?

  • Competitive salary package including retainer and uncapped commission structure

  • Ongoing training, coaching, and professional development

  • Clear career progression opportunities within the Autopact Group

  • The opportunity to represent iconic and innovative automotive brands

  • Supportive team culture with strong leadership and mentoring

  • Long-term career stability with a nationally recognised dealership group
