The opportunity

You’ll deliver compliant asbestos removal from site set-up through to clearance, working with supervisors and hygienists to achieve safe, high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Set up and manage work areas: signage, barriers, negative pressure enclosures, decontamination units

Perform friable and non‑friable removal to licence conditions and codes of practice

Operate and maintain HEPA vacuums and specialist plant

Assist with air monitoring support as required

Manage waste handling, transport, and disposal to licensed facilities

Complete documentation: SWMS, permits, pre‑starts, clearances, photos

Coordinate with supervisors, hygienists, and clients to meet program and quality targets

Housekeeping, plant checks, and close‑out for timely clearance

About you

Proven experience as an asbestos removal technician

Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Reliable communicator and team player

Able to travel to varying sites across SEQ

Qualifications and licences

Current Asbestos Removal Licence

Class A (friable) preferred; Class B considered

Construction White Card

Current driver’s licence

Fit test and medicals current

Desired tickets:

CPCCDE3014 Remove non‑friable asbestos

CPCCDE3015 Remove friable asbestos

EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
