We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Streetscape Maintenance to lead the upkeep of key public areas, including roundabouts, centre medians and formal garden beds. You will plan daily runs, allocate tasks and work alongside your crew to trim hedges, replant seasonal beds and maintain tidy edges and clear sightlines. You will also monitor plant health, organise mulch and materials, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. This is a fast-paced outdoor role where you stay close to the work and support your team on the ground.
Every task has a visible result. Your team keeps busy traffic areas clean, safe and well presented, improving how people experience the city each day. You will keep landscapes consistent and inviting across high profile locations. The work supports safe road environments and builds pride in shared public spaces.
You will have stable full-time employment with the tools and support to do the job properly. We provide opportunities to build your horticultural skills, gain certifications and grow your leadership skills. This role suits someone who leads by example, values teamwork and takes pride in keeping important public spaces at a high standard.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams – and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
