Workshop Manager – Mad Man Motors, Wangara

Lead a Busy Automotive Workshop with a Growing Dealership

Madman Motors is looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to take charge of our busy workshop in Wangara.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can drive productivity, maintain high standards, manage technicians and ensure every vehicle leaving the workshop is completed to the highest standard.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Managing daily workshop operations
- Leading and motivating technicians and apprentices
- Scheduling and allocating workshop jobs efficiently
- Ensuring quality control and final vehicle checks
- Managing customer repairs, retail work and dealership reconditioning
- Monitoring workshop productivity and profitability
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
- Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
- Working closely with the sales department to ensure vehicles are prepared on time

About You

To be successful you will have:

✔ Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Foreman or Senior Technician
✔ Strong leadership and people management skills
✔ Excellent organisational and communication abilities
✔ Mechanical trade qualification preferred
✔ Experience with workshop systems and job scheduling
✔ Ability to manage KPIs, productivity and quality control
✔ A positive attitude and strong work ethic
