Dowsing Group is a leading civil services contractor that has proudly delivered exceptional quality projects since 1985. Today, our team of around 150 employees provide specialty civil sub-contractor services to major councils, LGA's and contractors in Australia and New Zealand.

Some of our services to Local Govt Councils include removal and reinstatement of footpaths/driveways/verges/kerbing, reticulation repairs, site clean and backfill using suitable materials.

Your role

Keep stock moving—receiving, storing, and loading safely in line with WHS standards
Maintain yard and work environment in a clean and safe manner adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines
Monitoring stock levels to support smooth operations
General workshop and property housekeeping
Operate the forklift competently and safely
Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures – including CoR
Handle general yard, workshop, and property housekeeping duties
Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and daily operations

Specific duties:

Keep the yard dust-free by watering as needed
Take ownership of stock control – keeping stock accurately, organised and ready for operations
Assist BU functions with delivery of product and assets through-out the business
Operating skid steer and front-end loader safely when required
Servicing of small plant – such as Quick Cut Saws, Plate Compactor, Blowers, Chainsaws etc.
Assist the Workshop team with various workshop duties
Emptying site bins into the correct waste location

Ideal candidate

Current C class manual driver’s license
HR license or above (Highly desirable)
Forklift, skid steer and front-end loader tickets
