The Role
The Automotive Accessories Fitter/Assembler at VQuip Pty Ltd plays a crucial role in fitting and assembling solutions that have been designed specifically for the needs of our customers, helping us deliver excellent service. 

This position involves working on fitting accessories to a range of light commercial vehicles as part of our team that provides innovative solutions for our customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of fitting and is keen to grow into a leadership position.



Responsibilities

This is a full-time position that will involve all aspects of accessory assembly and installation to pre-delivery vehicles. 

The ideal candidate shares our company values of Teamwork, Innovation and Customer Focus and has a great work ethic. 

This role will primarily involve assembling and installing parts to new light commercial vehicles (Vans and Utes). Prior experience with vehicle fitting is preferred but full on-site training is available. 

You will be provided with training and support in enhancing your skillset. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage priorities and ensure jobs are completed on time.

  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide hands-on fitting and assembly of accessories and vehicle components.

  • Sharing your technical knowledge and experience.

  • Liaise with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Uphold and promote VQuip’s values of Teamwork, Innovation, and Customer Focus.



Skills and Experience

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual with strong technical ability and proven leadership qualities.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in automotive accessory fitting, fabrication, or related trade.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven commitment to quality and safe work practices.

  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).

  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Desirable:

  • Electrical or automotive electrical experience (training available).

  • Background in the caravan or light commercial vehicle industry.

  • Experience in production or workshop coordination roles.

Remuneration

$80,000 - $90,000p.a. based on experience.
