About the role

As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and maintenance support to our valued clients at Cold Rae. This full-time position is responsible for the hands-on servicing and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring seamless operations for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective solutions to restore operations
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide timely, high-quality service
Maintain detailed records of all service work and report on equipment performance
Support the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices to develop their skills
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company procedures

What we're looking for

Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of HVAC systems
Hands-on experience with split systems, ducted systems, VRV/VRF, and package units
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities to identify and resolve equipment issues
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
Certifications in refrigerant handling and other relevant trade qualifications are highly desirable
Certificate III in Electrotechnology, refrigeration licence, and relevant trade qualification required
Australian work rights are essential for this position
