About Us

We are a growing Brisbane-based business specialising in the repair, maintenance and servicing of residential and commercial doors and windows. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Trainee / Trade Assistant to join our team.

This position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for someone with some experience in the door and window industry who is looking to further develop their skills and build a long-term career.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced technicians, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with repairs and maintenance of sliding doors and windows

• Replacing hardware components and assisting with installations

• Assisting with on-site service work at residential and commercial properties

• Loading and unloading materials and equipment

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Providing professional customer service when attending job sites

• Learning the skills required to progress into a Door & Window Technician role

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Some experience in the door and window industry

• Experience in a door or window factory, assembly, manufacturing, installation or service environment

• Basic knowledge of aluminum doors and windows

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Reliable transport to and from work (essential)

• Reliable and punctual attendance (non-negotiable)

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Physically fit and capable of manual work

• Current driver's license preferred
