This role isn’t for everyone.
If you’re looking for a job where someone tells you what to do all day, this probably isn’t
it.
At ReAssured Restoration, we’re looking for people who take ownership, solve
problems and take pride in doing things properly.
The people who do well here are usually the ones others rely on when things go wrong.
They stay calm under pressure, communicate well, and don’t wait to be told every next
step.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
At ReAssured Restoration, we help bring certainty back when insured homes and
businesses experience the unexpected.
When a storm floods a home, a pipe bursts, fire damages a property, or mould begins to
spread, we’re the team that responds.
We don’t rebuild homes and we don’t renovate kitchens.
We attend when the damage occurs, assess the situation, help prevent further loss,
document conditions, and carry out specialised restoration work that helps the property
move towards recovery.
Our vision is simple:
To be the most trusted first-response restoration partner for insured homes.
We believe trust isn’t built through advertising.
It’s built through clear communication, professionalism, accountability and consistently
doing what we say we’ll do.
That’s the type of team we’re building.
One day you might be extracting water from a flooded home and setting up specialised
drying equipment.
The next, you could be monitoring moisture levels within walls and floors, assisting with
a mould remediation project, or helping recover a property affected by fire and smoke
damage.
Some days are physical.
Some days are technical.
Most days require both.
You'll be trusted to assess conditions, identify risks, document findings and
communicate clearly with people who are often dealing with unexpected and stressful
situations.
That's why professionalism matters.
Most employers talk about what they expect from you.
Here’s what you can expect from us.
You’ll receive proper onboarding, structured training, ongoing support and clear
expectations.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals who genuinely care about quality work
and helping each other improve.
You’ll have opportunities to develop technical skills, gain industry certifications and build
a long-term career within a growing industry.
We expect a lot from our people.
It’s only fair our people expect a lot from us.
We’re not looking for the finished product.
We’re looking for the right person.
Someone who turns up on time, communicates clearly, follows through on commitments
and takes responsibility for their work.
Someone who cares about quality, pays attention to detail and wants to continually
improve.
Experience in restoration, construction, trades, maintenance or cleaning can be
beneficial, but attitude matters far more than experience.
We can teach restoration.
We can’t teach attitude.
This role generally isn’t suited to people who need constant supervision, avoid
responsibility, cut corners or believe that “good enough” is good enough.
We’ve worked hard to build a strong culture based on accountability, teamwork and
professionalism.
We’re protective of it.
You’ll join a business that is focused on building the most professional restoration team
on the Fraser Coast.
You’ll have access to ongoing development, clear career pathways and meaningful
work that genuinely makes a difference.
Many people discover restoration by accident.
To apply, we’d like you to send through your resume and answer one question.
A homeowner calls after heavy rain. Water has entered their home and parts of the floor
and walls are wet.
When you arrive on site, what are the first three things you would want to
understand before making any decisions, and why?
Keep your response to 250 words or less.
We’re not testing restoration knowledge.
We’re interested in how you think.
Applications that don’t answer this question won’t be considered.
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants a job.
We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of a professional team known for
quality work, accountability and doing the right thing when it matters most.
If that sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
